Today we did much exploring outside. We brought out our magnifying glasses to take a closer look at myriad creatures and plant life. We found spiders, webs, slugs, worms, centipedes. We also dressed up in strips of cloth and played hide and go seek.
It’s been a long time dream to build and open an in-house, anti-bias, play-based preschool. We are finally doing it! My family and I are extremely excited. We’d like to share the process with you. It’s been a year of conceptual planning, architecture, and construction. Our school is ready! We’re now working on our outdoor spaces. Soon we’ll be adding a cedar playhouse, a sand lake, a mud kitchen, and garden beds.
Update: We are an official Certified Family Preschool! We are ready for visitors and now enrolling for the 2019/2020 school year (school begins July 1). Please come visit us!
