We have exciting news! We took our final vote to name our African Dwarf frogs this morning. After receiving everyone’s votes (over the last few weeks by hand at circle time) we tallied all of our votes found Ambe and Zitaa are the winning names. In celebration, we sang a frog song (twice) and did some big bodied frog hopping.
It’s been a long time dream to build and open an in-house, anti-bias, play-based preschool. We are finally doing it! My family and I are extremely excited. We’d like to share the process with you. It’s been a year of conceptual planning, architecture, and construction. Our school is ready! We’re now working on our outdoor spaces. Soon we’ll be adding a cedar playhouse, a sand lake, a mud kitchen, and garden beds.
Update: We are an official Certified Family Preschool! We are ready for visitors and now enrolling for the 2019/2020 school year (school begins July 1). Please come visit us!
