We are continuing our process of considering signage for our garden in order to communicate to and invite our families into our community garden.
Again we are pairing this process with color theory by learning about primary colors and how we might make secondary colors.
Today we met outside in the courtyard garden to color-mix, paint our cedar planks (soon-to-be signs), and play.
It’s been a long time dream to build and open an in-house, anti-bias, play-based preschool. We are finally doing it! My family and I are extremely excited. We’d like to share the process with you. It’s been a year of conceptual planning, architecture, and construction. Our school is ready! We’re now working on our outdoor spaces. Soon we’ll be adding a cedar playhouse, a sand lake, a mud kitchen, and garden beds.
Update: We are an official Certified Family Preschool! We are ready for visitors and now enrolling for the 2019/2020 school year (school begins July 1). Please come visit us!
